For many of us, we have been attending this event our whole lives, and we are very grateful to our parents’ generation for providing us with wonderful, cherished memories. Over the last decade we have slowly been transitioning the responsibility of our beloved MDB tradition from their generation to ours. It is time now for us to also assume financial responsibility as we help build memories with cousins for our children.

The cost of the weekend averages about $3,000. This pays for things like the town hall rental, paper goods for the breakfast and other meals, bunco prizes, the Friday night stew, the Saturday snow-cones & cotton candy, and all of the food and supplies for the breakfast itself.

We understand that travel and hotel accommodations are costly, so we do not want this to be a burden for anyone and do not want it to prevent anyone from coming. We are asking if those who can contribute would please do so to help us continue our family traditions that have blessed our lives so greatly with cousin relationships. If you cannot contribute, we understand; please, please, please still come!

We hope that our posterity, of the continuing Willis and Angie family, will have the opportunity to experience the same blessings of closeness with cousins, aunties, and uncles. Thank you for all of your love and support of our family.

Love, Jami Lyman Key
